One interesting place to visit is the Hai Thanh Aquarium. Visitors can snorkel with the sharks at this aquarium or just relax in the saunas and Jacuzzis. There are 16 sharks along with over 300 other species of fish and marine life at the aquarium that visitors can swim with.

Vietnam is also known for its many festivals. Any of these events are for gay people who are traveling as well as the locals. The Trung Thu Festival is held in the fall. Another attraction for gay people is the gay tours. There are different vacation packages and tours that can be purchased for gay and lesbian couples. One of the packages is a two night tour and gives the traveler two nights in Hanoi, a day tour by Pedi cab, a water puppetry show, as well as lunch in a traditional restaurant. Other tours for gays and lesbians include the Grand Hanoi tours where travelers will board a teak yacht at Halong Bay, stay at a famous hotel, and be picked up by a Benz at the airport.
